Companies embracing social responsibility outperformed their peers in the stock market by 25% since August 2005. In addition, 72 percent of employees want their employer to do more to support a cause of merit; this figure has risen 20% since 2004.

A Better Bottom Line is Better for Everyone!

Sponsoring the RIDE is good for everyone involved, including refugees, donors, riders, volunteers, and sponsors.

1. Refugees: Sponsorship support is applied directly against event expenses, increasing the RIDE's support of the refugee programs of International Teams. For every $5 of sponsorship support, $4 will go to program.

2. Donors: Sponsorship support greatly enhances the return on investment donors expect from their donations to the RIDE. The more sponsorship support received, the more money will go directly to refugee services.

3. Riders & Volunteers: Sponsorship support provides the local infrastructure required for ensuring a successful, well-managed and excellent RIDE for the many riders and volunteers participating on RIDE Day.

4. Sponsors: Sponsorship support will provide participating businesses with PR and event exposure to preferred customer profiles, including working families, ethnically diverse communities, participating organizations (business, school and church), community networks and select media partners. As well, businesses will leverage their employee participation in the event into philanthropic goodwill.

The RIDE Community Sponsor Package is an opportunity for business leaders to showcase their care and support for refugees in their city while strategically aligning their product or service in the eyes of potential clients participating in or sponsoring the event.
